matched with a disabled person who needs support with collecting shopping or medicine.This will involve collecting the items from a nearby store and delivery to door.<\/p><p><strong>Shopper Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p><p>A Volunteer Shopper will be shopping on behalf of the disabled person (either in person or online). <\/p><ul><li>Attending online induction training and receiving individual support and guidance from Choice in Hackney.<\/li><li>Maintaining boundaries in line with Choice in Hackney\u2019s guidance.<\/li><li>Shopping and interacting safely in line with social distancing and other guidelines for volunteers.<\/li><li>Relating to the service user in a respectful way and adhering to the Choice in Hackney\u2019s equal opportunities policy.<\/li><li>Keeping in touch with the Volunteer Coordinator and informing of any issues\/changes.<\/li><li>Maintaining confidentiality within Choice in Hackney\u2019s This is a legal requirement and helps us to protect the vulnerable adults to whom we have a duty of care.
